Spider veins....ugh!
Spider veins can occur over time due to
increased pressure in the legs from standing
and everyday activities.
Those small blue, purple and red clusters of
veins that appear on the thighs, calves and
ankles can be diminished by skillful use of
injections.
These veins can be diminished by a procedure
involving injection of a sclerosing solution
that causes the veins to collapse and fade
from view.
Sclerotherapy can only treat the veins that
are present and visible, it does nothing to
alter the venous system or prevent new veins
from surfacing in the future. Several
sessions may be needed to achieve optimal
results.
