Zerona

Lucas Cosmetic Surgery is excited about introducing Zerona, a non-invasive body slimming procedure to our practice. Zerona a low level energy laser, that emulsifies the intracellular fat which is then metabolized by the liver and secreted into the bloodstream. There is no pain or discomfort with the treatments which typically last 40 minutes each. A series of 6 treatments is required every other day for 2 weeks of optimal results.

Typically a dietary supplement, Curva, is taken to enhance fat metabolism. Fatty foods and alcohol should be avoided during the treatment period. It is also recommended that patients increase water intake and exercise. Studies have shown that patients loose an average of 3.5 inches. Some patients have lost up to 9 inches. Zerona can also be performed immediately prior to liposuction to increase fat removal up to 30%
